Ingredients

  • 2 large chicken breasts (boneless, skinless)
  • 8 oz linguine pasta
  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Freshly grated Parmesan cheese, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Cook in a skillet until golden and cooked through. Remove and slice.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic, parsley, thyme, smoked paprika, onion powder, and red pepper flakes. Cook for 1 minute.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and lemon juice. Simmer for 2 minutes.
  5. Add cooked pasta and sliced chicken to the skillet. Toss to coat.
  6. Serve with freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
