Description

Cinnamon Sugar Bread is a soft, sweet bread swirled with cinnamon and sugar for a delightful treat.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for swirl)
  • 1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon (for swirl)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the egg, milk, vanilla extract, and vegetable oil to the butter mixture.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients. Mix until just combined.
  6. In a small bowl, combine the sugar and cinnamon for the swirl.
  7. Pour half of the batter into a greased loaf pan. Sprinkle half of the cinnamon sugar mixture over the batter.
  8. Add the remaining batter and top with the rest of the cinnamon sugar mixture.
  9. Use a knife to swirl the mixture into the batter.
  10. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  11. Cool for 10 minutes before removing from the pan.
