Description
Cinnamon Sugar Bread is a soft, sweet bread swirled with cinnamon and sugar for a delightful treat.
Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for swirl)
- 1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon (for swirl)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the egg, milk, vanilla extract, and vegetable oil to the butter mixture.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients. Mix until just combined.
- In a small bowl, combine the sugar and cinnamon for the swirl.
- Pour half of the batter into a greased loaf pan. Sprinkle half of the cinnamon sugar mixture over the batter.
- Add the remaining batter and top with the rest of the cinnamon sugar mixture.
- Use a knife to swirl the mixture into the batter.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool for 10 minutes before removing from the pan.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container to maintain freshness.
- Great served warm with butter.
