- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons milk
Instructions
- Prepare the vanilla cake mix according to package instructions and bake in a 9×13 inch pan.
- Let the cake cool for 10 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix brown sugar and cinnamon. Pour melted butter over the mixture and stir.
- Poke holes in the cooled cake with a fork.
- Pour the cinnamon mixture over the cake, ensuring it fills the holes.
- In another bowl, beat cream cheese and unsalted butter until smooth.
- Add powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and milk to the cream cheese mixture and mix until well combined.
- Spread the cream cheese frosting over the cake.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
