A delightful blend of cinnamon and apples in a soft, sweet bread.
Ingredients

- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 ½ tsp vanilla extract
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 ¾ tsp baking powder
- ½ cup milk
- 2 medium apples, peeled and chopped (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp work well)
- ⅓ cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- Optional glaze: ½ cup powdered sugar
- Optional glaze: 1–2 tbsp milk
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- In a mixing bowl, beat together the softened butter and granulated sugar until creamy.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing well.
- In another bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and ground cinnamon.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk.
- Fold in the chopped apples.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
- In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar and cinnamon, then sprinkle it over the batter.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- For the optional glaze, mix powdered sugar with milk until smooth and drizzle over the cooled bread.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
- This bread is best enjoyed fresh.
