Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup sour cream (or Greek yogurt)
- 1 1/2 cups peeled and diced apples (about 2 medium apples)
- For the crumble topping:
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- In another bowl, whisk together melted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract.
- Add sour cream and diced apples to the wet mixture; stir until combined.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture; mix until just combined.
- In a separate bowl, combine crumble topping ingredients until crumbly.
- Fill muffin tins with batter and sprinkle crumble on top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
