- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Peanut Butter Dough:
- ¾ cup all-purpose flour
- ¼ teaspoon baking soda
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ cup unsalted butter, softened
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- ½ cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix all chocolate dough ingredients until smooth.
- In another bowl, mix all peanut butter dough ingredients until smooth.
- Drop spoonfuls of both doughs onto a baking sheet, alternating between chocolate and peanut butter.
- Use a toothpick to swirl the doughs together slightly.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes.
- Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
- Store cookies in an airtight container.
- Chill the dough for 30 minutes for thicker cookies.
- Adjust baking time for desired softness or crunchiness.
