Description
A rich and creamy chocolate orange cheesecake with a buttery biscuit base.
Ingredients
- Digestive Biscuits: 250g
- Unsalted Butter: 100g, melted
- Cream Cheese: 600g, softened
- Caster Sugar: 150g
- Double Cream: 300ml
- Orange Zest: 2 oranges
- Orange Extract: 1 tsp
- Dark Chocolate: 100g, melted
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Crush the digestive biscuits and mix with melted butter.
- Press the biscuit mixture into the bottom of a springform pan.
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese and caster sugar until smooth.
- Add double cream, orange zest, and orange extract. Mix well.
- Fold in the melted dark chocolate.
- Pour the mixture over the biscuit base.
- Bake for 50 minutes or until set. Let it cool.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
- For a stronger orange flavor, add more zest.
- Top with chocolate shavings or orange slices if desired.
