Description

A delicious twist on the classic Chicken Cordon Bleu, this Stromboli combines chicken, ham, and Swiss cheese wrapped in pizza dough.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast (sliced or shredded)
  • 6 slices deli ham
  • 6 slices Swiss cheese
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise (optional)
  • 1 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • 1 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface.
  3. Spread Dijon mustard and mayonnaise over the dough.
  4. Layer the cooked chicken, ham, and Swiss cheese on top.
  5. Sprinkle garlic powder, dried parsley, and Parmesan cheese over the filling.
  6. Roll the dough tightly into a log shape.
  7. Place the Stromboli seam-side down on a baking sheet.
  8. Brush the top with melted butter.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing.
