Description

A hearty chicken and bacon casserole featuring a crunchy tater tot base.


Ingredients

  • 32 oz bag frozen tater tots
  • 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 16 oz sour cream
  • 1 pound bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 pound cooked chicken, chopped or shredded
  • 2 tablespoons green onions, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons reserved crumbled bacon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine tater tots, cheddar cheese, ranch seasoning, cream of chicken soup, and sour cream.
  3. Add in cooked bacon and chicken, mixing well.
  4. Spread the mixture into a greased casserole dish.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  6. Garnish with green onions and reserved bacon before serving.

Notes

  • You can substitute the chicken with rotisserie chicken for convenience.
  • For a spicier version, add jalapeños or hot sauce.
