- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons instant yeast
- 1/2 cup warm milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup warm water
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
- Add warm milk, melted butter, warm water, and egg. Mix until dough forms.
- Knead dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
- Place dough in a greased bowl. Cover and let rise for 1 hour.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out dough into a rectangle. Spread softened butter on top.
- Sprinkle garlic, Parmesan, and mozzarella evenly over butter.
- Roll dough tightly and slice into pieces.
- Place slices in a greased muffin tin.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Garnish with parsley before serving.
