Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons instant yeast
  • 1/2 cup warm milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup warm water
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
  2. Add warm milk, melted butter, warm water, and egg. Mix until dough forms.
  3. Knead dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
  4. Place dough in a greased bowl. Cover and let rise for 1 hour.
  5. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  6. Roll out dough into a rectangle. Spread softened butter on top.
  7. Sprinkle garlic, Parmesan, and mozzarella evenly over butter.
  8. Roll dough tightly and slice into pieces.
  9. Place slices in a greased muffin tin.
  10. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  11. Garnish with parsley before serving.
