A hearty and cheesy casserole combining the flavors of a cheeseburger with crispy tater tots.

- 2 1/2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
- 1 package (32-oz) frozen tater tots
- 4–5 slices bacon, cooked and chopped
- 1 can (16-oz) sour cream
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1 can (10.5-oz) cheddar cheese soup
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt & pepper to taste
- Optional: Pickle chips, extra bacon, hot sauce
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Add diced onion, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper to the beef. Cook until onions are soft.
- Stir in sour cream and cheddar cheese soup until well combined.
- Transfer the beef mixture to a baking dish. Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Arrange frozen tater tots evenly over the cheese layer.
- Sprinkle chopped bacon on top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until tater tots are golden and crispy.
- Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, broil for the last 2-3 minutes.
- Customize with your favorite burger toppings.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
