Delicious baked pumpkin donuts topped with a sweet maple glaze, perfect for fall.

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
- 1 ½ teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
- ¾ teaspoon kosher salt
- ¼ teaspoon baking soda
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup light brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup canned pumpkin puree
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- For the maple glaze:
- ¾ cup maple syrup
- 1 ½ tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
- ¼ cup confectioners’ sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
- In a bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, pumpkin pie spice, salt, and baking soda.
- In another bowl, mix melted butter and brown sugar. Add eggs, pumpkin puree, and vanilla extract.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients until smooth.
- Pipe or spoon batter into the donut pan, filling each mold ¾ full.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool donuts on a wire rack.
- For the glaze: Heat maple syrup and butter in a saucepan until melted. Stir in vanilla, salt, and confectioners’ sugar.
- Dip cooled donuts into the glaze and let set.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- Use pure maple syrup for best flavor.
