Ingredients

  • 3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • ½ tsp dried thyme or Italian seasoning
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a baking dish, place the chicken breasts and drizzle with olive oil.
  3. Season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  4. Bake the chicken in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until cooked through.
  5. While the chicken is baking, prepare the creamy sauce in a saucepan over medium heat.
  6. Add heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, and dried thyme or Italian seasoning to the saucepan.
  7. Stir continuously until the sauce thickens.
  8. Once the chicken is cooked, pour the creamy sauce over the chicken in the baking dish.
  9. Return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes.
  10. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
