- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp paprika
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- ½ tsp dried thyme or Italian seasoning
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a baking dish, place the chicken breasts and drizzle with olive oil.
- Season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Bake the chicken in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until cooked through.
- While the chicken is baking, prepare the creamy sauce in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Add heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, and dried thyme or Italian seasoning to the saucepan.
- Stir continuously until the sauce thickens.
- Once the chicken is cooked, pour the creamy sauce over the chicken in the baking dish.
- Return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
