Ingredients

- 1 lb. ground turkey light or dark meat
- 1 medium apple peeled and grated
- 1 egg beaten
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 3 tablespoons almond flour
- 1 tablespoon about 5 leaves fresh sage
- 1 teaspoon white ground pepper
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt
- pinch allspice
- 1 tablespoon avocado oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mix ground turkey, grated apple, and beaten egg.
- Add minced garlic, almond flour, sage, pepper, onion powder, salt, and allspice. Combine well.
- Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1.5 inches in diameter.
- Heat avocado oil in a skillet over medium heat. Brown the meatballs on all sides.
- Transfer meatballs to a baking dish and bake for 15-20 minutes or until cooked through.
Notes
- Serve with a side of vegetables or over pasta.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Can be frozen for up to 3 months.
